Tiffinie McEntire Tang, LAc, MSTCM
Tiffinie is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in fertility, hormone regulation, women’s health, pregnancy and postpartum support. She earned a Masters of Science from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco in 2006. Tiffinie has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, as she started her career as a practitioner of Jin Shin Do acupressure, reflexology and lymphatic drainage massage, after training at The Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA.
While Tiffinie primarily treats fertility and pregnancy, she also treats a wide variety of disorders, ranging from digestive issues, autoimmunity, menopause, migraines, sleep disorders, orthopedic pain, anxiety, and so much more. She believes that Chinese medicine, including herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications, combined with acupuncture, can heal most of life’s ailments, restoring the body to it’s natural state.
In addition to Good Witch, Tiffinie has been practicing at Nest Acupuncture in San Francisco where she and her partner have built a thriving practice, supporting thousands of women and their partners in creating their families since 2006. At Nest, they recently expanded their practice to a wellness center model, hosting a group of amazing healers, estheticians, and therapists, while continuing to offer the same primary care to women and men aiming to create a family.
Tiffinie previously co-founded the Acupuncture Program at San Francisco’s Pacific Fertility Center (PFC) where she supported patients undergoing Assisted Reproductive Therapies (ART) like in-vitro fertilization (IVF). The practice at PFC was one of the first on-site acupuncture clinics in an IVF clinic in the U.S., and it continues to serve its community drawing from the model Tiffinie and her team helped to create in 2007.
In her spare time, you can find Tiffinie tinkering with herbs and essential oils, dreaming of keeping bees, and playing in the garden. Tiffinie also enjoys spending her free time traveling with her husband and son, getting lost in a good book, playing at the beach, and bouncing on the family trampoline.
Sara North, LAc, MSOM
Sara North is an Acupuncturist licensed in California since 2008. After receiving her Masters in Oriental Sciences at the Academy Of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences (ACCHS) in Oakland, she joined a group practice in Kensington. At this time, Sara proudly gained experience in pediatric acupuncture; treating infants, toddlers and children of all ages. Sara and her coworkers, “The Qi Team”, as they later called themselves, made the local newspaper with a new metabolic weight loss protocol brought back from China.
In 2009 Sara specialized in the Hendrickson Method of Orthopedic Massage and Manual Therapy and also began studying and practicing an advanced, highly effective form of cupping. In 2011 she dived into a new passion, Cosmetic Acupuncture techniques, and developed her own unique protocol, adding the Eminence Organics skin care line and an ancient form of cosmetic lymphatic massage known as gua sha. The combination of the three result in significant non-invasive face lifts and facial rejuvenation.
In addition to working with the the Qi Team, Sara volunteered at BAYVAC (Bay Area Veterans Clinic) in San Francisco where she performed ear and body acupuncture on veterans, both young and elderly, for PTSD, pain, addiction, depression and insomnia in a community setting. Her needling technique was touted as being the “gentle touch of an angel” by grateful veterans.
Sara left Kensington in 2013 for her own private practice in Alameda and is now excited to join a group practice once again with Good Witch Wellness and Apothecary!
In Sara’s spare time she volunteers as a leader with the “No Excuse Mom’s” community exercise group, helping bring fitness to moms (and dad’s and kids!) in Alameda. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, camping, horseback riding, hiking, gardening, dancing and reading.
